Challenges with manual process:
The manual process for generating a Bill of Entry involves gathering necessary shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, house and master bill of lading/ house and master airway bill, import license, etc.), manually filling the BoE form with shipment details (consignee, consignor, description, quantity, value, HS code), submitting it to customs, verification and assessment, possible physical examination, paying duties, and receiving approval for goods release. This process is time-consuming, error-prone, and often leads to delays.
